Per-market pre-order

• Market overrides. With two or more region markets, override each product editor pre-order setting per market. Products CSV adds per-market columns.
• Each market’s pool counts only its own stock. On Shopify Plus, Bloom manages the checkout rule Bloom: Pre-order limits by market.
• Share inventory across markets (off by default) keeps one pool. Existing installs must approve new permissions.

Klaviyo connection fixes

• Bloom shows Klaviyo as disconnected after you remove Bloom inside Klaviyo, and reconnect and disconnect report their outcome correctly.

• Activity feeds refresh every 2–3 seconds while the tab is open.

CSV import and export reliability fixes

• Products. Export dates now match between “export all” and “export current view”, so re-importing an unedited file no longer shifts schedules or changes pre-order settings. Import now catches a missing purchase option, a negative oversell limit, and stray whitespace before applying, and no longer drops pre-order message history.
• Design. A deliberately-cleared style no longer gets reset back to Bloom’s default on import.
• Settings and Config. Number fields and already-correct rows now validate properly, so one bad or unrelated cell can no longer block your whole import.
• Import no longer fails to respond if clicked in the first few seconds after page load, a preview that can’t be applied can now be dismissed without reloading, and a partial-failure warning stays on screen instead of being reloaded away.

Admin reload screen no longer claims a deployment is in progress

• The screen shown after some admin errors now just asks you to reload, instead of assuming a Bloom deployment is the cause.

Pre-order holds apply correctly with split orders on

• Orders containing pre-order items are now held when Split orders is on and the purchase option is off. Settings copy corrected for both toggles.

Bulk ship-date and show-after switches fixed

• Toggling switches off no longer clears dates on other filtered variants, switches now show correctly for already-scheduled rows, and Discard resets bulk date drafts.

• Pick a track to configure. App home now walks through Pre-order or Notify Me separately - Pre-order is 6 steps, Notify Me 4. Steps shared between them, like enabling Bloom in your theme and connecting Klaviyo, complete in both tracks at once.
• Track status in the logo row. Two cards show each track’s status - click one to open or close its steps.
• Skip steps you don’t need. A skipped step still counts toward progress, is flagged on the row, and can be undone.
• A track goes live as soon as it’s live on your storefront - not only once every step is ticked - with a congratulations banner and a prompt to keep configuring. Notify Me only reports Active once a back-in-stock list is selected; a completed pre-order checklist with no variant on pre-order reads “No products active”.
• A “Help and how to” panel with the walkthrough video sits beside the track picker, and each track leads with a quick-start guide card.
• Klaviyo reconnection and other live issues now surface in a banner above Home, instead of inside the setup panel.
• The Review your settings and Disable products setup steps are gone - Settings is in the nav, and hiding notify-me products is on the Products page.

Preview Notify me and Pre-order without live stock

• Preview control. The Bloom app embed and Bloom Product block gain a Preview setting, first on each, that forces the PDP widget to show Notify me, Pre-order, or Notify me & pre-order - no need for a real out-of-stock product. Trigger it on any product page with ?bloom_preview=notify|preorder|both.
• Design tab preview buttons. New Theme and Live store buttons open the theme editor, or a published product with the preview forced to the active feature. Live store is hidden if you have no published product.
• On-storefront preview switcher. While previewing, a floating panel lets you switch between Notify me, Pre-order and both without reloading, move it to any corner, and copy a shareable preview link. Shoppers never see it, and no analytics or orders are affected while it’s active.

Notify Me “Layout modes” override moved to admin only

• The per-theme-block override for Notify Me’s layout modes is gone - set it once in Notify Me settings instead. The widget still honours that value; this only frees up room in the Bloom Product block.

Release detail page shows live batch progress

• Live status per order. Opening a release in progress lists every order in the batch, flipping from Pending to Released as the job works through them. CSV export reflects each order’s current status.
• A View orders button opens Shopify admin filtered to that release’s Pre-order: Release #N tag.

Admin pages get deep-linkable URLs and breadcrumbs

• Design, Content, Settings, Products and pre-order releases each get their own URL, reflected in the breadcrumb trail and page heading. Old links still redirect.

Release orders tab replaces “Releases”

• New “Release orders” tab, under Products → Pre-order. Shows released, held and ready units per variant, and lets you select variants and prepare orders for release - oldest first, or all held orders - with a preview page listing the exact orders before you confirm.
• Receive stock without leaving Bloom. Enter received units and pick a receiving location; confirming writes the stock to Shopify and releases the covered orders in one step.
• Releasing thousands of orders is much faster, and an interrupted release now resumes automatically instead of leaving a stuck progress bar.

Release history tracks every batch

• A new Release history tab is an audit trail of every release - trigger, units received, orders released - each carrying a batch number (e.g. #213) you can drill into for the released orders.
• Rows open their order details from anywhere on the row, and Shopify order links open in a new tab.
• Home and the release views show a live progress bar for each release batch in progress.

New setting: minimum stock increase to auto-release

• Settings → Pre-order → Auto-release orders → “Minimum stock increase to auto-release” (default 1). Small stock bumps, like single-unit returns, no longer trigger an auto-release.

​

Auto-release waits out a quiet period before triggering

• Auto-release now waits for stock increases to settle (60 seconds by default) before releasing, so a multi-variant import becomes one release batch instead of several, and stock reductions like customer purchases are ignored.

​

Releasing also clears Shopify’s native pre-order hold

• Releasing a pre-order now clears Shopify’s native pre-order hold too, so consolidated orders don’t stay held after release. Released orders carry a Pre-order: Release #N tag, and the order notes log each release.

​

Product Manager layout matches the releases table

• Selection controls and grid now share one “Manage products” section, in a bordered container with a solid header; variant count, pagination and page size sit in a footer row.

Oversell limit no longer double-decrements after a failed stock update

• Fixed a bug where a stock-arrival batch that failed partway through could lower a variant’s oversell limit twice on retry.

Accept gift cards and store credit on pre-orders

• New setting: Enable purchase option at checkout. On by default. Shopify blocks gift cards and store credit on any checkout carrying a pre-order purchase option. Turn it off under Settings → Pre-order → Checkout to sell pre-orders as back orders so those payment methods work - tagging, holds, cart labels and emails are unaffected.

Pre-order status filters no longer fail on large catalogues

• Filtering by Active, Pending or Finished pre-order status no longer errors out on large catalogues.

Admin pre-order status now matches the storefront

• Admin pre-order status (Products table, badges, Results, home dashboard, variant editor) now reads inventory from your fulfilling locations, the same as the storefront. Fixes wrong statuses for variants stocked only at a non-fulfilling location.

Cart sync keeps pre-order cart lines accurate

• Pre-order cart lines now stay in sync as shoppers add, update or navigate the cart - messages, quantity caps and stale info all update correctly, including on quick-add and upsell lines added outside the PDP.

New “Cart pre-order sync” toggle

• Settings → Pre-order → Cart has a new Cart pre-order sync toggle, on by default. Turn it off to stop Bloom updating cart lines - the PDP widget still works as normal.

• New back-in-stock funnel. Track shoppers who arrive from a Klaviyo back-in-stock flow email - visits, add to carts, orders, units and revenue. Items added or bought in the same session that aren’t the landed product are recorded separately, so halo revenue isn’t conflated with direct conversion.
• Notify-me sign-ups now split by channel. The Results page reports email and SMS submits alongside the total. Forward-only - earlier submits only count toward the total.
• Notify-me starts now count shoppers who open the form in button and overlay modes, not only those who touch a field.

Design and content results

• New Results section comparing how each setting’s values performed while live. Per-value views, starts, sign-ups, rate, relative diff vs the previous value, potential revenue and $/view. Columns are sortable, repeat values bundle with date-range tooltips, and a Hide low views toggle (on by default) hides comparisons under 1,000 views. Works for both Notify Me and Pre-order.

Personalise notify-me content with product and variant tokens

• The notify-me button, form heading, submit button and success message now accept {product-name} and {variant-name} placeholders. They are substituted on the storefront for the selected variant - e.g. “Notify me when Classic tee Small / Black is back in stock”.
• Native variant titles. Multi-option variants use Shopify’s title format (Large / Black); single-variant products substitute an empty variant name.
• Preview renders sample names. The Design page preview shows sample names in place of the tokens. New defaults for the heading and success message use the tokens - saved content is unaffected.

Per-product pre-order schedule fixes

• Each product keeps its own date. In the products bulk editor, each product’s “show pre-order after” date now tracks independently - previously setting one date appeared to set them all.
• Cleared dates clear on screen. Clearing the date now updates the field immediately, instead of leaving the old value showing until save.

Live PDP preview on the Design page

• The Design page now renders a live preview of the pre-order / notify-me widget beside the editor controls. It updates in real time as you change styles.
• Works on every store. The preview is in-admin, so it renders even on password-protected stores where a real storefront preview can’t load.

• Overrides in the theme editor. Block-free stores can customise text, labels and notify-me behaviour from the theme editor, and override per market via per-market themes. Colour overrides stay on the in-page block.

Notify-me SMS across all Klaviyo SMS markets

• The mobile field auto-detects the shopper’s country, shows an editable dial-code prefix, and falls back to email-only where SMS isn’t available.

Toggle pre-order, set the oversell limit, write your PDP and cart messages, and set the scheduled-open date - all from the Purchase options card, with no trip to the Bloom Products editor.
• Apply to one variant or the whole product. The variant page edits a single variant. The product page applies the same settings to every variant at once.

Purchase options card now reads “Bloom”

• Bloom’s entry in Shopify’s Purchase options card is now labelled Bloom with Pre-order as the option, instead of Bloom: Pre-order. Existing entries are renamed on your next save.

Shoppers can cancel pre-orders themselves

• Inline cancel on the order status page. Shoppers cancel a pre-order line from the Bloom Pre-order block on the order status page. Email-link buyers sign in first, then confirm inline.
• Cancellation refunds, restocks, and notifies. A cancellation refunds the order, restocks the variant, and emails the customer. Your inventory goes back up.
• Your policy text shows at checkout. Your cancellation policy appears on the checkout and thank-you pre-order banner - informational, no button.
• Edit the wording. Four cancellation strings live under Pre-order → Cart messages → Cancellation.

Pre-order ship-date changes show on past orders

• Order status page tracks message changes. Orders with pre-order lines show each line’s current ship-date message on the order status page.
• Changed-since-purchase tag. When you edit a line’s cart message after purchase, the shopper sees a [Last updated: <date>] tag against it.
• Updates land in seconds. Edits reach existing orders within seconds.

Pre-order now follows the “Continue selling” switch

• One toggle controls pre-order. The Continue selling when out of stock switch on the Products page now drives pre-order directly. Bloom no longer turns it on automatically from your oversell limit.
• Three conditions to go live. A variant shows as pre-order only when continue-selling is on, pre-order is enabled, and the oversell limit is above zero.
• No false sold-out. A pre-order variant with stock still in hand no longer paints Sold out.

You’re no longer forced to the plan picker

• Opening any admin page no longer redirects you to the plan picker when you have no active subscription. The Subscription required banner still shows and links to plans.

Plans, billing, and usage limits

• Four plans with a free trial. Hibernate, Starter, Growth, and Pro, monthly or annual, each with a 7-day free trial. Pick one in the new plan picker.
• Usage meter on your dashboard. The home page shows this period’s pre-order orders and Notify Me sign-ups against your plan cap, with an Upgrade prompt when you go over.
• Over-limit lockout. Go past your cap or let the plan expire and the storefront reverts pre-order variants to your Sold out label, disables add to cart, and hides the Notify Me form. An admin banner explains why and links to plans.

”Open Theme Editor” button now activates the app embed

• The Open Theme Editor button on the home page now toggles the Bloom app embed on for you. Previously you opened the apps panel and switched the embed on yourself.

Debug mode toggle

• New setting under Settings → Developer. Turn on Debug mode to log Bloom activity to the browser console - variant lookups, inventory, cart sync.
• Off by default. Console output and the window.bloomDebug helpers no longer appear to shoppers unless you enable them.

Notify Me Results dashboard

• Display mode. • Sign-up methods. New setting (Notify me → Product page → Sign-up methods) lets you offer Email and mobile (default), Email only, or Mobile only. Single-method hides the toggle and shows one input. Also a per-block setting.

• New setting (Notify me → Product page → Display) and matching block toggle. When on, the notify-me option is suppressed on variants available for pre-order. Regular sold-out variants still show notify-me.
• Theme editor tidy-up. Bloom Product block settings now group as Settings → Content → Design, split per feature. Fixes notify-me items appearing under the Pre-order header.

Add to cart detected on more themes

• Bloom now swaps the Add to cart button to Pre-order on more themes, including Shopify Trade, Out of the Sandbox Turbo Portland and Retina, Pixel Union Atlantic, p-themes Wokiee, and We Are Underground Mr Parker. Themes that already worked are unchanged.

One Bloom block replaces three

• Merchant action required. The storefront now uses two blocks - Bloom (head embed) and Bloom Product (PDP). Remove any existing Pre-order, Notify Me, or Inventory Data blocks in the theme customiser and add Bloom and Bloom Product in their place. Block settings do not migrate.
• Colour pickers now work. Block-level colour overrides apply to the active pre-order button, the sold-out state, the quantity-error text, the focused notify-me input, and the hovered submit button. These were silent no-ops before.
• UK mobile numbers now validate correctly in notify-me sign-ups.
• Keyboard access. The email/mobile toggle radios stay in the focus order, so keyboard users can switch contact method.
