Bloom emits events at every step of the Notify Me flow so you can measure interest and attribute eventual purchases. Tracking is on by default - you only need to change settings if you want to disable an event or limit which destinations receive it.

Events

  • View - fires when a shopper sees the Notify Me option on a product page (notifyMe_view_bloom)
  • Start - fires when a shopper opens the form (notifyMe_start_bloom). In the button and overlay display modes this is the button click that opens the form; in the full-form mode it’s the first interaction with a field.
  • Submit - fires when a shopper completes the form (notifyMe_submit_bloom). Recorded with the channel the shopper chose (email or SMS).

Sold-out views

When a variant is fully sold out - neither pre-order nor Notify Me available - Bloom fires a soldOut_view event so you can measure the demand you’re currently missing. It carries the product, variant, price, and currency. Configure its destinations on the Sold out (no offer shown) row of the tracking matrix.

Revenue from back-in-stock emails

Bloom also tracks what happens after Klaviyo sends the back-in-stock email - visits, add-to-carts, and orders from shoppers who clicked through. This is collected automatically (see Measure back-in-stock results) and reporting is coming soon to Results.

Destinations

  • GA4
  • GTM
  • Klaviyo
  • Meta Ads
  • Google Ads - per-event conversion ID/label (see below)

Configure

  1. In Shopify admin, open Apps → Bloom.
  2. Go to Settings → Notify me → Event tracking.
  3. For each event row, toggle the platforms you want it sent to.
  4. Click Save.
Notify Me event tracking matrix
Google Ads conversions need a per-event conversion ID and label. Paste the send_to value from Google Ads → Tools → Conversions → Tag setup into the Google Ads cell for each event you want tracked. Format: AW-XXXXXXXXXX/AbCdEfGh. Leave a cell blank to skip that event.
Create a separate Google Ads conversion action per event (View, Start, Submit) so you can attribute the funnel stage that actually drove the sale.
