Shopify Sidekick can read your Glide traffic and answer questions in Shopify admin. There’s nothing to set up - Sidekick uses Glide’s tools automatically once Glide is installed. Sidekick access is read only. It can’t change Glide or your store, and Glide has no Sidekick change path.

What you can ask

  • Traffic report - page view totals and a daily series for the last 1, 7, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days (default 30). The 1-day window is hourly. Sidekick compares points to spot spikes in Suspect, Bots or Agents traffic.
  • Top pages, page types, countries and sources - the top 10 of each, plus an other entry for the rest.
  • Recent page views - the latest 1 to 50 (default 20), newest first, with page, country, device, UTM source and classification. No visitor identities.
  • Tracking status - whether data is arriving (receiving, no_recent_data or no_data), the latest hour with data and the count for the last 24 hours. If the embed needs checking, Sidekick links the theme editor.

Example prompts

  • “How much of my traffic was Human in the last 30 days?”
  • “Was there a spike in Suspect traffic this week?”
  • “Which countries sent the most Bots in the last 7 days?”
  • “Show my latest page views.”
  • “Is Glide receiving data?”
Audiences overlap, so Sidekick treats only All as the total. Data arrives hourly, so the latest hour can lag. no_data on a new install can mean the embed isn’t on yet - see Quick start.
