# Refund policy

> When Good Native refunds Bloom and other app charges, how to request a refund on your Shopify invoice, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Last updated: 24 October 2026.

## 1. Overview

This policy covers every paid plan for Good Native's apps and services.

* **Shopify apps**, including Bloom, are billed by Shopify. We issue refunds through Shopify, and they show on your Shopify invoice.
* **Other services** are billed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle returns refunds to your original payment method.

## 2. Monthly plans

Plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel any time - see the [Terms of service](https://help.goodnative.co/policies/terms-of-service.md). We don't refund the unused part of a billing period.

## 3. When we refund

We consider a refund when:

* You were charged after cancelling, because of a billing error.
* A significant, documented technical issue stopped you using the app, and we couldn't fix it in a reasonable time.
* You were charged twice or charged in error.

## 4. Request a refund

Email [support@goodnative.co](mailto:support@goodnative.co) within 14 days of the charge. Include:

* Your `myshopify.com` domain, or your account email for non-Shopify services.
* The app name.
* The date and amount of the charge.
* Why you're asking for a refund.

We reply within 5 business days. For Shopify apps, check your Shopify invoice once we confirm the refund - Shopify doesn't notify you separately. Paddle refunds can take up to 10 business days to reach your statement.

## 5. When we don't refund

We generally don't refund:

* A change of mind, or deciding not to use the app after purchase.
* Not cancelling before the next billing period.
* Issues caused by third-party platforms, services or your own store configuration.
* Suspension or termination for breaching our [Terms of service](https://help.goodnative.co/policies/terms-of-service.md).

## 6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If our Services have a major failure, you can cancel and get a refund for any unused portion. If the failure is minor, we fix it within a reasonable time - if we don't, you're entitled to a refund.

## 7. Chargebacks

Contact us before starting a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Billing issues raised with us directly are usually resolved faster.

## 8. Contact

Email [support@goodnative.co](mailto:support@goodnative.co) for refunds and billing questions.
